Applying for Re-entry Permit, Advance Parole, and EAD in Guam
Most US immigration procedures can be conducted in Guam in the same way as in the mainland U.S. As the Territory of Guam is very close to Asia, which is only about 4 hours from Korea and 3 and half hours from Japan and the Philippines, traveling to Guam enables the people who live in these Asian countries to have their U.S. immigration procedures done at a low cost and within a very short period of time. In fact, a lot of people who live in Asia go to Guam in the morning to have their immigration procedures done, returning to Asia on the same day.
In addition, although there is no direct flight from China to Guam at the moment and those who live in China usually have to stop in Korea on their way to Guam, the flight to Guam is still much cheaper than going to Hawaii or to mainland U.S.
The following U.S. immigration procedures can be done in Guam:
▷ Applying for Re-entry Permit after grant of a U.S. green card;
▷ Applying for renewal of a combo card (Advance Parole and EAD) which expired before I-485 becomes approved;
▷ Filing for renewal of an expired green card for which the 10 years of validity period has expired; and
▷ Filing for changing a 2-year conditional permanent residency into a complete permanent residency.
For people who live in Korea, Japan, China, the Philippines, or any other country near Guam, all these procedures can be done in Guam without the need to travel all the way to mainland U.S. or Hawaii, as our firm will help you file these applications in Guam.
Please contact us at the following number if you want to find out more about our services for filing for any of the above procedures for your application.
